  • Guarantee deposit: When renting a car in Miami, a deposit will be required as a guarantee when picking up the car and it will be retained on your credit card. The amount of the deposit will be defined solely by the rental company at the time of picking up the car.
  • Driving license: You must present a current driving license (Latin Alphabet) issued in your country of origin. Please note that if your license is not in the Latin alphabet, you will need to present an international driving permit along with your driving license.   • Credit card: The holder of the reservation must have a credit card with his name printed on it and sufficient funds for said guarantee deposit. The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Diners, American Express and/or Discover.
  • - Minimum age: The main driver must be over 25 years of age.
  • Air tickets and/or round-trip cruise.
  • Valid passport.

Through our portal, you can pay for your car rental in Miami through the following options:

  • Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Diners, American Express, and/or Discover). Debit card with the Visa or MasterCard logo.

Keep in mind that through our portal, you can make the payment for your reservation with a credit card under the name of a family member, friend or company.

Important: Remember that the holder of the reservation must have a credit card under his name printed on it and as a requirement when picking up the car.

The credit card must be in the name of the main driver. Therefore, when renting a car in Miami, it will not be possible to use a card in the name of another person.

Through our rates, you will have the possibility of including the Rental Car Coverage, Third Party Insurance, Gasoline Tank, GPS and/or Additional Driver. These options are subject to availability. Once you have selected the itinerary, car and any additional services, the rate details will specify the inclusions according to your Miami car rental.

When making your car rental reservation in Miami, we recommend you include insurance since the prices of these can be up to three times more expensive if they are purchased when you pick up the car.

  • Insurance Coverage for the rental car is an essential requirement to travel in the United States. Therefore, this will be requested by all the companies in your car rental in Miami.
  • Third Party Insurance may be mandatory in some states where transit. For this reason we recommend you purchase this insurance for your car rental in Miami.

When you rent a car in Miami through sdmadisoncorp.com, you will have the guarantee that all taxes and costs will be included in your reservation. Keep in mind that on certain occasions, some taxes and/or surcharges must be paid at destination.

In a car rental in Miami, the value of the deposit may vary according to the season, itinerary and car category. Said amount will be confirmed by the rental company at the time of picking up the car. The holder of the reservation must have a credit card with his name printed on it and sufficient funds for said guarantee deposit.
The deposit will be released when you return the car. However, the money may take up to 15 business days to be reflected in the holder's account.

To modify your reservation at no cost, please contact our Customer Service department.

1. Any changes to the reservation may affect rental charges

2. If a prepared reservation is canceled more than 24 hours before the pickup time, a $500 cancellation fee will apply.

3. If the prepaid reservation is canceled within 24 hours of the pickup time, a $750 cancellation fee will apply.

4. If the reservation is for an amount equal to or less than $500, a 35% charge will be applied

5. If the customer does not cancel the reservation before the pickup time and the rental vehicle is not picked up on the rental date, the full prepaid amount will be forfeited.

6. The refund of the reservation will be made within a period of approximately 30 business days. The refund will be made to the same card with which you paid in advance

7. In case of returning the vehicle before the initially agreed date (early return), no refund will be made for the unused period.
